Concerts and events with the premiertone artists

Curtain on: Ilia Papandreou sings the title role in Cherubini's "Medea" which is going to be premiered in Erfurt on November 11th. There are still some tickets available; further performances are going to take place on November 15th and 17th. 

Tomoko Akasaka appears with her Amaryllis Quartet this week: in Herisau on November 8th and in Ketsch on November 12th. Andra Darzins performs in Stuttgart on November 12th and takes part in a concert with the Ensemble Modern in Frankfurt on November 7th. Barbara Buntrock and her Wupper Trio appear in Erlangen on November 9th, and Nicholas Rimmer interprets works by Schreker, Brahms and Penderecki in Bonn on November 6th.

The Novus String Quartet plays Schumann's Piano Quintet in E-flat major in Gschwend on November 11th. The same day, Thorsten Johanns performs in Singen with the Minetti Quartet, and Jasmin-Isabel Kühne appears with her Duo Lumière

Anna Aminoff gives a chamber music concert at the HMT Leipzig on November 12th: She performs works by Reinecke, Kaski and Sibelius with Marja Rumpunen and Alexander Franzen. Also on November 12th, Nicolai Gerassimez and his brother Wassily Gerassimez appear in Tettnang, and Elena Gurevich performs with her Trio Cantabile. Finally, Jens Peter Maintz plays a recital with Eldar Nebolsin in Achern on November 12th.

Robert Koller sings in Mendelssohn Bartholdy's "Walpurgisnacht" in Zurich on November 11th and in Grieg's "Olav Trygvason" in Basel on November 12th. Marianna Shirinyan appears at the Oslo Music Academy on November 10th, and Peter Donohoe performs a recital in Mendoza on November 7th and Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 25 in Cuyo on November 10th. Another recital in Cuyo takes place on November 12th. Sophia Jaffé travels to Armenia: She interprets Glazunov's Violin Concerto in A minor with the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra on November 10th.
