Concerts and events with the premiertone artists
Tomoko Akasaka and Thorsten Johanns are quite a lot on the move this week: Tomoko Akasaka and her Amaryllis Quartet appear in Solothurn on November 20th, Lübeck on November 21st, Hamburg on November 22nd, Bremen on November 23rd and Icking on November 25th. Except for the last concert in Bremen, the ensemble performs together with Nobuko Imai (viola). Meanwhile, Thorsten Johanns and the Aris Quartet appear in Maintal on November 23rd, Buchen on November 24th, Hasselburg on November 25th and Halberstadt on November 26th.
Jasmin-Isabel Kühne performs as soloist with the Mitteldeutsche Kammerphilharmonie: She plays in an Advent Concert in Schönebeck on November 24th and Calbe (Saale) on November 25th. Besides, she has been invited for an interview to the series "Philharmonisches Phrücstück" ("Philharmonic Breakfast"), also in Schönebeck, on November 26th. Nils Mönkemeyer is another one of the premiertone artists who play in a solo concerto this week: He performs Bartóks Viola Concerto with the Staatsorchester Stuttgart and Bertrand de Billy again on November 20th and also plays Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante KV 365 with Arabella Steinbacher and the Mozarteumorchester Salzburg in Salzburg on November 23rd.
Meike Bertram and the Nomos Quartet perform works by Schubert, Vasks, Sibelius and Nørgård in Hanover on November 26th. Esther Saladin gives a concert with the Ensemble Modern Orchestra in Frankfurt on November 24th, and Nicolai Gerassimez and his brother Alexej Gerassimez appear in Schöppingen on November 25th.
In Stuttgart, Andra Darzins performs again at the St.-Antonius-Herbstkonzerte on November 26th, and Passo Avanti has been invited to a private concert at the SWR on November 24th. Kateryna Titova interprets works by Scriabin, Beethoven and others at a recital in Wuppertal on November 25th and also gives a concert with Aleksey Naumenko (violin) and Aleksey Shadrin (cello) at the Piano Galerie Berlin on November 23rd.
Judith Ermert invites to a class recital of her students at the Conservatorium Gent on November 20th. On November 23rd, the Trio Gaspard with Nicholas Rimmer and Jonian-Ilias Kadesha performs at the Royal Northern College of Music where it has been awarded the Junior Fellowship in Chamber Music this year. Nicholas Rimmer also appears at the Liederfest "Johannes Brahms in Hannover" at the Sprengel Museum Hannover on November 26th.
Clemens Schuldt conducts the Orchestra Sinfonica Haydn di Bolzano e Trento on November 21st and 22nd, with works by Mozart, Beethoven and Kaija Saariaho. Daniel Raiskin has been invited to the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra and conducts a concert with Lukas Geniušas on November 24th.
László Fassang takes part in two further performances of Eötvös' "Multiversum": in Paris on November 24th and in Zurich on November 26th. Chiara Enderle performs in Salzburg on November 25th, and Joseph-Maurice Weder gives a concert with Manrico Padovani (violin) in Aarau on November 24th. Finally, Aldo Baerten plays music by Piazzolla in a teachers' concert at the Sted Servais Academie in Halle (Belgium) on November 24th.

During the concert tour through Asia with the Berliner Philharmoniker, Michael Hasel gives a masterclass in Tokyo on November 23rd.
